Manuel Pascali was overjoyed after helping Kilmarnock to their first home win over Rangers in 17 years yesterday.
The Italian scored the only goal to guide Killie to a famous victory over the reigning champions who had their lead at the top of the table cut to just four points following Celtic's 5-0 drubbing of St Mirren on Saturday.
Pascali said it was a joyous occasion for Kilmarnock just two weeks after they were beaten 6-3 by Inverness Caledonian Thistle.
"There are players lucky enough to win trophies and things like that. Today I just want to be able to stop time because this is amazing. It's unbelievable," Pascali said.
"It's been 17 years since the last time we beat Rangers here. I was thinking during the week 'F****** hell, we need to win'.
"I've played them 15 or 20 times and every time we lose. One day I knew we would win.
"I don't want to be too romantic about it all but this is one of the best days of my life.
"We lost 6-3 against Inverness and that's one of the worst results I've experienced here. In the space of two weeks you've had the best and the worst.
"I'm a lucky man because now everyone will remember me for this performance and not the shambles in the Inverness game."
