Kilmarnock boss Kenny Shiels will not be signing Derek Riordan despite the former Hibernian striker training with the club. Riordan has joined up with the Ayrshire side to maintain his fitness levels.

However, Shiels does not believe there is any chance of a deal.

"He's an out-of-contract player who we are facilitating, that's all.

"We have done it with Mark Kerr and loads of players who want to keep their fitness up until they get fixed up."
