Kilmarnock determined to keep Blackpool, Nottingham Forest target Boyd

Kilmarnock manager Allan Johnston admits he would be loath to lose star striker Kris Boyd this winter.

The 30-year old, who scored his 13th league goal of the season in Killie's 2-0 home win over Inverness on Saturday, is a target for Championship clubs Blackpool and Nottingham Forest.

"We cannot afford to lose somebody like Boydy. He is too big a player for us with his goals," said Johnston.
