Kilmarnock manager Kenny Shiels is keen to sort out his contract as quickly as possible.
The 56-year old Northern Irishman comes out of contract this summer and is hoping he can come to terms with the Killie hierarchy prior to the end of the Scottish season which culminates on May 19 with the Scottish Cup.
"We had discussions but we haven't been able to cement anything as there has been so much that has been going on. I hope to get a chat with the chairman on Friday if I can.""As for my own contract, I would like that done before the end of the season," he told the Daily Record.
