Kilmarnock boss confident of SPL survival

Kilmarnock are without a league win in three months and are just three points off the bottom of the pile. However, boss Jim Jefferies has no doubts they just need a bit of luck after a goalless draw with Motherwell.

"If you're building up play and putting balls in the box - okay one or two in the first half could have been a wee bit better - then sometimes you need a wee break.

"If you look at what Motherwell did at the end, they put a couple of balls in the box and it fell for them to get shots, which they put over the bar.

"That never happened for us, it always fell for them. And that's what it's been like for us.

"I couldn't fault the players' effort, we tried to get it down. As long as we keep playing like that, we'll get enough points to make sure we're okay."
