Kiko Casilla has no regrets over his return to Real Madrid.

The goalkeeper, formerly of Espanyol, is acting as backup for Keylor Navas.

"I knew that it wasn't going to be easy. When you are at what I view as the best side, you are not going to arrive and find that it is all a bed of roses. I knew that it would be difficult, we are a big squad and the manager makes the decisions. However, I can also tell you from being here that you learn a lot without playing," said Casilla.

"To get here, we have had similar careers. Keylor and I both came from the Segunda División, we had to reach the top-flight and earn a place. In the end we got the prize of playing for Real Madrid and our relationship, and also that which we have with Rúben (third goalkeeper) is excellent and we will always be happy with one another. As long as your teammates are demanding in every training session, both you and they take something positive away."
