Kightly pens new Wolves deal

Wolves winger Michael Kightly has ended speculation about a summer move to the Premier League by signing a new four-year deal at Molineux.

The 21-year-old joined the Championship outfit on loan from Grays Athletic last November before signing a two-and-a-half year contract in January.

But Kightly is happy have committed his future to Wolves and told the club's website: "I have said from day one that I'm happy here and would sign a longer contract if I was offered one.

"The discussions went well and I can now look forward to another four good years here. The ambition is to kick on and get into the Premier League and I want to be a part of it and play at the highest level.

"The way the fans have treated me has been unbelievable and I want to show some loyalty to them and help the club get up."
