Lyon ace Nabil Fekir is eager to make the move to Liverpool after their run to the Champions League final.

Fekir is waiting for a move to be confirmed after passing his medical on Friday.

L'Equipe says the run to Kiev was crucial to Fekir's decision to join the Reds.

Amid interest from Bayern Munich and Atletico Madrid, Fekir decided on Liverpool because of both that run to the final in Kiev - where they lost to Real Madrid - and the idea of working under manager Jurgen Klopp.

The German has undoubtedly improved several of his squad members ever since arriving at Anfield in October 2015, most notably Mo Salah and Roberto Firmino last season, with the pair scoring 71 goals between them.
