Kiessling resists Spurs to pen new Bayer Leverkusen deal

Stefan Kiessling has ruled out a move to England by signing a new deal with Bayer Leverkusen.

Tottenham and Arsenal had been linked with Kiessling, but the 24-year-old put pen to paper on a new deal to 2012 on Wednesday, admitting it was not a difficult decision to take.

"My family and I feel very happy in Leverkusen," he said. "Something is being built in this team and at this club so that we can challenge for the German title in two or three years."
