Manchester City Under-18 skipper Kieran Kennedy is delighted with his progress.
Kennedy admits he's excited by the changes that have happened at City.
Centre-back Kennedy, a regular for England Under-19s, told City's website: "I joined the Academy when I was five. I feel like I've grown up here and I wouldn't change it for the world.
"My main aim is to work hard, progress, and hopefully become part of the first team. Being a local lad, I think that would be great and such an achievement.
"When I go to Carrington and see players such as David Silva and Sergio Aguero walking around, it makes me want it even more and drives me on to work harder."
