Brian Kidd has urged Manchester City to name Roberto Mancini's quickly.

Kidd took charge for yesterday's defeat to Norwich City.

"Emotionally, right through the club, it has taken out of people. But you look at it now that there is a new manager coming in - and hopefully that will be done quickly so he can assess what he needs.

"It's been a really emotional week, and we can't hide from that."
