Andre Schurrle was praised for his solid performance in Chelsea's 4-0 win over Steaua Bucharest in the Champions League on Tuesday night.
The 22-year old German, who joined the Blues in the summer from Bayer Leverkusen, produced his best display in the clubs second group stage outing and his efforts were not lost on manager Jose Mourinho.
"His best position is on the left," Mourinho said.
"Today he started from that position and people understand the quality he has. He was in the game a lot, getting ball in space to attack the defender. The kid was very strong."
