Kid brother of Villa star Young gets Hereford chance

Watford striker Lewis Young has joined Hereford United on a month's loan.

The forward is the younger brother of Aston Villa and England international Ashley and arrives at Edgar Street with a promising reputation.

Young will go straight into Hereford's squad for Saturday's home clash against Bradford. And temporary boss Graham Turner is delighted with his acquisition having been on the lookout for new faces to inject fresh life in the club's battle against relegation from League Two.

Turner told Hereford's official website: "He's a very quick striker or wide player and he can score goals. His attitude has been great, we've not had to convince him to come here, he's jumped at the chance to join us."
