Kia Joorabchian is convinced Inter Milan can land Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez for an affordable fee.
The Mirror says Joorabchian is keen to get his client out of Eastlands before the transfer window closes and held talks with Inter's sporting director Marco Branca.
It is claimed that City, who initially slapped a £50m price tag on the Argentine, are willing to accept less than £40m to get his £230,000-a-week contract off their books now Sergio Aguero has signed.
Tevez met with Branca last week while in Sardinia.
