The Philippine national football association has extended its deal with Columbian Autocar Corporation (CAC), the exclusive distributor of Kia vehicles in the Philippines, for another year, reports SportsPro. Continuing a relationship that began in May 2011, the Korean car brand will remain as the official transport provider to the national team, popularly known as the Philippine Azkals.
CAC has been providing Kia cars for team playing and coaching staff for the past year.
Azkals team manager Dan Palami said, "We would like to thank Columbian Autocar, Kia for continuing to believe in the team and being there to support the Azkals in almost all our endeavours. This has been a fruitful partnership for the past year and we are happy."
"We identify very much with the Azkals in terms of our status now but we believe that sooner we will get there, we will get the prestige that we are looking for together with the Azkals." said Palermo Soriano, senior marketing services manager of CAC.
