Ki urges Swansea to become more mature against top clubs

Ki Sung-yueng has urged Swansea City to 'grow up' when they take on the Premier League's bigger clubs.

The Swans have a decent record t this season with wins over Arsenal and Liverpool, a draw with Manchester United and the Capital One Cup semi-final triumph over Chelsea but the South Korean wants Michael Laudrup's men to up the ante when they host second-placed Manchester City on the weekend.

"When we play against the best players and best teams in the league, we have to grow up," former Celtic midfielder Ki told the South Wales Evening Post.

"This year we have done it at times - we have got some big results.

"And even if we have lost games, we have dominated parts of matches and we have learned a lot from the experiences.

"But we have got to be more mature when we play the big clubs.

"We have Manchester City and Manchester United coming up. They are tough games, but it is a good finish to the season for us."
