Swansea star Ki Sung-yueng is not in the mood to discuss a new contract during the season, despite his current deal running out when the season expires.
Ki is happy to talk terms with Swansea when the season ends, but he believes that any contract talk at the moment would distract from his important job of performing on the pitch.
"We have not talked with the club, we just want to focus on these games," said Ki.
Swansea being second from bottom is one of the reasons why Ki is not eager to put pen to paper on a new deal.
"If we are out of the relegation trouble then maybe it will be a better time to talk. In the club the concentration has to be on these games and it is the same for me."
"I am relaxed about my situation and I will work as hard as I can to help this team."
Swansea find themselves struggling to remain in the Premier League, with only 12 points from the first 16 games. And with games against Man City, Liverpool and Tottenham among the next six, things are not getting any easier. It will take some fantastic performances from Ki and the rest of the squad to help them climb the table.
