Swansea City midfielder Ki Sung-Yeung says they need to find cover for Wilfried Bony.
Garry Monk's men will have to cope with the loss of Ivory Coast striker Bony and South Korea midfielder Ki next month due to international duty.
Ki is off to the Asia Cup while Bony will play in the Africa Cup of Nations.
Ki said: "Definitely we need him.
"He is a big player for our team. Apart from the goals he scores, he holds the ball up and passes it. We need him in the team.
"He is our main scorer, he scored the most goals this season.
"Next month, him and me will be away, and Bony is a big player. We need to be ready for when he is away.
"I don't think it matters as much about me being away, but Bony is a massive threat every game. We need to find a way to score when Bony is not playing well."
