Ki hoping to add scoring power to his Swansea game

Ki Sung-yueng says his individual target this season is to score more for Swansea City.

The South Korean midfielder failed to hit the back of the net in his debut campaign for the Swans after joining from Celtic last summer but is determined to follow on from his pre-season opener against FC Gravenzande this week.

"There are a lot of games this season and everyone is going to be hard for us," Ki told the South Wales Evening Post.

"Hopefully I can score my first goal, it would be great if I scored. I need to score this season - that is my target - and if I can I want to score more.

"At Celtic I scored some goals. I haven't set myself a total, just when I have a chance I want to do my best. But it's not easy to score when I have to play so deep."
