New Fulham boss Kit Symons will have January funds made available to strengthen his Championship squad.
Cottagers owner Shahid Khan is prepared to hand Symons transfer funds in January as he aims for the club to bounce back into the Premier League at the first attempt.
"We want to figure out what our needs are and fulfil them - you've got to have the resources to do the job," said Khan when asked if he was ready to hand Symons a transfer kitty.
"We've spent a lot of money so we want to invest but go about it the smart way and that's right in line with what Kit's thinking."
