Fenerbahce striker Mateja Kezman says his former Chelsea teammate John Terry is an ideal club captain.

"I know there has been this big debate about whether he should continue as England captain but I have huge respect for him as a leader," he told the Daily Mail.

"At Chelsea, he is brilliant with the newcomers and brilliant at offering encouragement when he sees players having a hard time. He celebrates when his team win and supports players when the team lose."
