Harry Kewell won a penalty to ensure Turkish Galatasaray progressed through to the final 32 of the UEFA Cup. Gala' defeated German club Hertha Berlin 1-0 after Kewell's cross was handled in the area by Hertha's Steve von Bergen.
Milan Baros stepped up to the spot kick in the 69th minute and duly delivered sending Gala' to the top of the Group B table.
