Harry Kewell scored twice from the spot as Galatasaray defeated Denizlispor 4-1 in Turkey.

Played at Gala's Ali Sami Yen Stadium, the home side went behind in the 39th minute when Emil Angelov netted but sanity was quickly restored when Kewell netted a penalty just before the break.

Galatasaray then went ahead through Arda Turan just prior to the hour-mark before Kewell again was successful from the spot in the 67th minute to make it 3-1.

Denizlispor's Ahmet Solakel then wrapped it up for Gala with an own goal sixteen minutes from time.

It was the second win of the new season for Frank Riijkard's men, who defeated Gaziantepspor 3-2 on the opening day.
