Kevin Stewart has explained leaving Liverpool for Hull City.
The 23-year-old midfielder completed an £8million move to Hull City on Friday as he penned a three-year contract.
“Coming here was an opportunity that was just too good to turn down," Stewart said.
“It was a difficult decision to leave Liverpool. It's a club that I love and have loved for a long time.
“I've supported Liverpool since I was a young boy and it was my life goal to be a regular there.
“But at the same time I felt this was a move that I needed to make in order to further my career.
“I've got a great platform to kick on here and it's now up to me to take it. I've come here to play a lot of games and gain some much-needed experience."
