The Kevin Muscat Testimonial match, to be played at Melbourne's new AAMI Park this Friday, is attracting some big name supporters.
The Melbourne Victory skipper will be honoured with a match against a 'Come Play!' XI made up of mainly Australian U20 internationals which will be the first football match at the purpose-built stadium and some of Muscat's closest friends will be attendance.
Current Socceroos Craig Moore, Vince Grella and Mark Bresciano and former national team representatives Tony Popovic, Steve Corica, Stan Lazaridis and Zeljko Kalac will be at the match and will be a part of the pre-match build-up and Muscat was thrilled they would be there for the occasion.
"I'm certainly honoured that these guys have agreed to take part on Friday night" Muscat said.
"With the World Cup just around the corner it wasn't easy for a few of them to make it happen, but I'm rapt to have them involved and hopefully we can put on a great spectacle for the fans."
