Kevin Gameiro is thrilled with his move to Atletico Madrid.

The former Sevilla striker made the switch over the weekend.

"The most important thing is that I'm talking to you," Gameiro told reporters when asked about Chelsea striker Diego Costa at his unveiling, "the club chose me and I will give my all.

"I'm here to win titles; the Champions League and La Liga."

Joining Atletico means working alongside not just renowned coach Diego Simeone for the ex-Sevilla forward, but also competing with France teammate Antoine Griezmann.

"[Simeone] has shown that he knows my qualities, and I think I can adapt and become more aggressive. I like spontaneity, and he also wants to win every game.

"I have not spoken to [Griezmann], but I will meet the group and adapt to it."

Finally, Gameiro considered the interest shown in him by La Liga champions Barcelona before he put pen to paper with Los Colchoneros.

"In my head, it was all clear," the Frenchman added, "I wanted to join Atletico from the beginning.

"There is always [pressure], but that can be a good thing. I'll just play my game and I'll score many goals here."
