Aberdeen captain Mark Kerr has dismissed suggestions that the Dons' players have not given 100 per cent this season. The club captain has admitted they can be accused of underperforming this term, but it is out of order to claim they have not been trying.
"That's a pretty embarrassing question to ask actually, if you think I'm going to talk about my team-mates like that," said the 28-year-old, who has skippered the Dons during what is their worst season for six years.
"I don't think any one of the boys doesn't give 100 per cent.
"Obviously, when things go wrong, fans are going to say these things.
"I don't think it's true.
"I don't think things have gone to plan or gone great at certain times.
"But there's no danger of questioning any one of the boys' professionalism."
