Arsenal hero Martin Keown has questioned Rio Ferdinand's value to Manchester United after his performance at Manchester City. Keown wrote in the Daily Mail: "Watching Rio Ferdinand closely, I felt he was just doing enough to get by and nothing more. I don't know if he has some pain restricting him but he does not look like the player he used to be.

"He is not as mobile as in the past, was doing the bare minimum and was urging those around him to protect him and take some of his workload. He was left exposed by them at times."
