Arsenal legend Martin Keown thinks that Arsene Wenger is a 'black belt survivor' who is not prepared to call quits on his managerial career.
The Frenchman, whose current deal expires in the summer, has been the subject of massive criticism following his side's lacklustre performances in recent months.
However, Wenger, in his most recent press conference, made it very clear that he will be in management next season, whether it be with Arsenal or somewhere else.
The former defender writes in his Daily Mail Q&A column: “When a person reaches this age, the assumption is that his story is tied to Arsenal.
“In that press conference, he showed defiance and intelligence. It's put it out there that his career is not reliant on Arsenal. It was very telling.
“He is a black belt survivor. Wenger is going to carry on – he's saying 'if you want me, I'm here'.
“He's not prepared to end his career."
