Chelsea's non-executive director Peter Kenyon is reportedly in Lisbon to hold meetings with Benfica officials in regards to Argentine winger Angel Di Maria.
Kenyon is no longer chief executive of the Blues but represents them on various UEFA and the European Clubs' Association committees and according to Portuguese media outlets, he has held already been in discussions with Benfica on behalf of Chelsea.
But Kenyon remain tight-lipped whether or not Di Maria was a target for the Londoners.
"It is true I stayed in Lisbon in answer to your question, but I will not offer more details," Kenyon is quoted in Portuguese sports newspaper O Jogo.
"Is Di Maria a footballer of interest to us? I have no comment to make."
