The Kenyan Football Federation are already celebrating Celtic midfielder Victor Wanyama's move to Southampton.

The imminent £12.5 million transfer will see Wanyama become the first Kenyan to grace the Premier League.

"Victor has been a role model to upcoming youngsters in the game and we encourage them to emulate him," said FKF president Sam Myamweya.

"He has always honoured his call up to the Harambee Stars and every Kenyan should be proud of this move."
