This season will be Garry Kenneth's last as a Dundee United player he has claimed.
The 24-year old defender comes out of contract in the summer and has confirmed that he will not be penning a new deal with the Tangerines as he looks for a new challenge.
"It's time for a change. I need a fresh go and it's something I will look at over the next six months," he told the Daily Record.
"The big challenge is to go down south and do it at a high level. A new start would be good for me. If I get my league form going again hopefully I'll attract some interest.
"The manager has not said much but I believe he understands where I'm coming from. Dundee United are a feeder club - it has always been like that.
"Mark Wilson (Celtic) and David Goodwillie (Blackburn Rovers) have used it to move on to bigger things and I want a bigger club too."
