Kennedy keen to extend stay at Nagoya Grampus

Josh Kennedy is already keen to extend his stay with J-League club Nagoya Grampus. The Australian international joined the club in mid-June and after scoring three times in his first three appearances is looking to prolong his stay.

"It feels like home and I would certainly be interested in staying on loner," he told The World Game.

"But I don't want to jump the gun because I've had many highs and lows in my career and don't like to look too far ahead because anything can happen."

Kennedy says it is refreshing to be playing in a different country to Germany where he spent nine years and aims to gain regular time so he can push for selection for the Socceroos World cup squad.

"I needed to move on and try something different," he added.

"f I'm playing regularly with Grampus and scoring goals that can only help me with the national team."
