Former Everton boss Howard Kendall has sung the praises of American goalkeeper Tim Howard's success this season.
"I don't think he has made and error that has been costly. I think that consistency is important and I think that he has been a great signing."
Howard was one clean sheet short of equaling the record of 15 for a league season, which was set by Neville Southall in the 1995/96 campaign.
And Kendall admits Howard still has a way to go to be ranked alongside the legendary Welshman.
"Nobody compares with Neville," he continued.
"But Howard has been fantastic. Neville didn't make an error in his career and he wouldn't admit it if he had!"
