Kemsley takeover talk continues at Spurs

Tottenham director Paul Kemsley could be about to launch a £250million takeover bid for the club, according to reports.

Kemsley, who is a close friend of Sir Alan Sugar and is a life long Spurs fan, wants to buy out current chairman Daniel Levy and take control of the club.

Levy, whose company ENIC owns 60 percent of Spurs shares is understood to be willing to sell for the right price but there is still plenty of negotiating to be done.

Kemsley has been playing a high-profile role in Tottenham's bid to find a new ground away from White Hart Lane. The vice-chairman, who is a London property tycoon is now ready to turn his attentions towards buying the club.
