Metz striker Olivier Kemen hopes the reports of a move to Newcastle come to fruition. The 17 year old is capped by France at Under-19s level and he says he will make the move to St James' Park providing talks between the two clubs run smoothly.

"Newcastle is a big team and they look after young players. If they agree everything with Metz, I will join them," he told Sky Sports.

"There are some good French speaking people there so I can settle their fine on the guidance of everyone there."
