Martin Kelly was happy for Liverpool teammate Sebastian Coates over his performance in their Carling Cup win at Chelsea.

Kelly praised Coates who had an inspired game at centre-half alongside Jamie Carragher.

He told liverpoolfc.tv: "Seb had a great game. We have a great squad and it's a waiting game but he took his chance tonight and played his part in a great team display."
