Martin Kelly is excited about the prospect of winning his first medal with Liverpool.
The Reds meet Cardiff City in the Carling Cup final at Wembley on Sunday and the 21-year old right-back is dreaming of success on what is so far the biggest day of his fledgling career.
"It's fantastic for us to get back to Wembley and we have made such good progress since last season.
"It's such a high stage and hopefully we can get the result everyone wants.
"It would be fantastic if I get the chance to play at Wembley."
He added: "For an English lad like myself, besides Anfield, it's the ground you want to play at, but we have such a good squad and competition for places is tough.
"I am still an Under-21 player so I've got to be pleased that I've been given an opportunity to play in most of the games leading up to the final.
"It will be a squad effort on the day and you can't take things for granted at a club like Liverpool. If I play it will be fantastic but if I don't it will still be an honour for me to be a part of the squad.""To win a first medal with Liverpool would be very special," he told the club's official website.
