Seattle Sounders goalkeeper Kasey Keller has heaped praise on the faithful supporters of the club.

After the 2-1 win over DC United in Washington, Keller spoke of how nice it was to have so much support when playing away from home following up from the great support they received for the US Open Cup in which they were triumphant.

"Well I mean we had a couple hundred at the (Open) Cup game so I mean that was tremendous and we landed at Boeing Field at 4:30 in the morning and had a couple hundred people waiting for us so it shows what our support is like," Keller said.

"Once again, just to have the Seattle faithful here supporting us, we obviously take a lot of pride in that and so do they. It's always nice to be able to reward people for their trip and their effort to support us on the road."
