West Bromwich Albion keeper Boaz Myhill admits that as current number one keeper at the Hawthorns following Scott Carson's departure to Turkey, reports of the Baggie wanting to strengthen in the stopper department is proving distracting. West Brom are reported to be in the market for two new goalkeeping recruits with talks over a move for Birmingham's Ben Foster thought to be at an advanced stage.
"It is frustrating to see the club continually linked with moves for a new goalkeeper, but there is nothing I can do about speculation," Myhill told skysports.com.
"I will just get my head down and work hard and try to impress Roy Hodgson.
"I have enjoyed pre-season and I am looking forward to the start of the new season."
