Burton Albion had 50 year-old goalkeeper Kevin Poole on the bench for their League Two clash with Wycombe Wanderers.
With second choice goalkeeper Dean Lyness injured, League Two side Burton Albion's former goalkeeper Poole took his place in the Brewers squad for the weekend's trip to Wycombe on Saturday - at the tender age of 50.
Unfortunately for Poole, his services weren't required as the Brewers won 2-1 at Wycombe, meaning that his last on-field Football League appearance came at the end of the 2009-10 campaign, when he kept a clean sheet in a 3-0 win against Grimsby Town aged 46 years and 291 days.
