Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger believes that keeping hold of possession is key in stopping Bayern Munich star Robert Lewandowski.
Lewandowski is arguably the most in-form striker in Europe at the moment after scoring a sensational 16 goals in just 11 appearances at club level so far this season.
As a result, Arsenal fans are certainly fearing the prospect of coming up against Lewandowski in the Champions League on Tuesday but Wenger believes he has a game plan up his sleeve to stop the Polish superstar.
"First of all the best way to combat him is for us to have the ball," Wenger told Arsenal's official website.
"After that you have to be shrewd with him because inside the box he is outstanding, because of his technique, his finishing, his movement inside the box.
"That's where we need the experience of (Per) Mertesacker and (Laurent) Koscielny to deal with that because that will be one of the important things on the night."
