New York Red Bulls defender Stephen Keel has signed a new contract with the club.
The 28-year old joined the Red Bulls from Portland Timbers prior to the 2011 season and was a key contributor, making 16 appearances last term.
Keel has now signed a contract extension and Red Bulls general manager Erik Soler was thrilled to see him pledge his future to the club.
"He provides us a physical and experienced option in central defense and we are pleased that we were able to sign him to a new contract.""Stephen had an excellent season last year and was a contributor in our postseason run," said Soler.
