Kevin Keegan has admitted to Newcastle United owner Mike Ashley that relegation is a REAL possibility.

An insider told The Sun: "Everyone knows what an honest bloke Kevin is and he told Mike as he saw it.

"Mike wanted to know if Newcastle will be safe but Kevin couldn't say for sure. He talked about the difficult fixtures coming up and how confidence is at an all-time low.

"The problems of not getting players in during the transfer window were also raised."
