Kevin Keegan has accused Blackpool captain Charlie Adam of attempting to injure Tottenham star Gareth Bale.
Keegan, the former England manager, was covering the 1-1 draw as an expert summariser for ESPN.
The Sunday Mirror says Keegan studied replays of Adam's challenge and said: "It's a terrible, terrible tackle and he means it."
Blackpool boss Ian Holloway said: "I don't think he did mean it. Kevin Keegan has his opinion but Charlie hasn't got that in him."
