Keane warns Sunderland of Champions League ambitions

Sunderland boss Roy Keane admits he wants to work in the Champions League.

"As an ambitious manager I want to manage in the Champions League," said Keane. "It is the only place to be. It remains to be seen whether it is with this club, but I am under contract.

"I had a three-year plan when I took the job and we have made progress in the first two years. But the biggest challenge is always the next one.

"Next season my aim is to finish in the top half of the league and do a lot better in the cups.

"There are only a few managers who can be successful and I want to be. It might be here or it might be somewhere else."
