Keane wants Tottenham's Dos Santos for Ipswich return

Ipswich boss Roy Keane is keen to bring Tottenham forward Giovani Dos Santos back to the club on loan until the end of the season. The Mexican scored four goals in eight games while on loan at Town last season and Keane wants to bring the player back to the club for a second spell.

The 20-year-old joined Harry Redknapp's side 18 months ago from Spanish giants Barcelona in a £4.7m move but has struggled to force his way into the first team at White Hart Lane.

"Gio is probably too good a player for the Championship but I'd love to have him back here," Keane said in the The People.

"Harry Redknapp is willing to let him go out on loan again and I think he's changed his phone number because I've been ringing him so much lately.

"If I could talk to the boy I'm confident I could sell Ipswich to him."
