Roy Keane says he's joined Aston Villa on the cheap.
The former Sunderland and Ipswich boss confirmed last night he has renegotiated a part-time deal to continue as Republic of Ireland No.2 to Martin O'Neill. On top of that reduction in wages, Keane has also abandoned his long-time role as an ITV pundit - permanently.
Asked if his salary with Ireland is now less, the ex-Manchester United skipper said: "Of course - but don't lose any sleep over it.
"That's why it took a few weeks to get things sorted out here - there's always some give and take."
