Manchester United legend Roy Keane would like to see his old club buy Tottenham star Gareth Bale and Bayern Munich midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger. Keane wrote in The Sun: "But the one I'd really want from Spurs is Bale. It will be tough getting him but they've got to try.
"Like Bale, Ribery is someone who could slot straight in but will he want to come? He's at a club one game away from winning the Champions League and I think he's said before that if he leaves Bayern he wants to go to Spain.
"We all think these players are desperate to play in the Premier League but that's not necessarily the case.
"Bayern have the clout to match United financially, so it's a question of whether a player fancies a different challenge.
"The same goes for Schweinsteiger. He mightn't be great on the eye but he's a midfield enforcer who seems like a good lad. "
