Sunderland were rocked by rumours that Roy Keane had RESIGNED yesterday.
A Wearside radio station suggested boss Keano had walked following a poor run of results.
But a Black Cats source told The Sun: "It's all a load of absolute nonsense. Roy will be in charge of the Sunderland team, as normal, at Blackburn."
One bookie suspended betting on the next Prem boss to go and it was claimed the Irish legend was not on the team-bus to Ewood Park.
But the source added: "Roy will be in the dugout and then be able to answer questions that I'm sure will be asked about this absurd situation afterwards.
"In all honestly we really don't know where all this has come from but these rumours seems to have taken on a life of their own and all hell let loose."
